General Questions
Do I need to be in shape to participate?
It certainly helps but the event allows you to move at your own pace whether walking or taking the bus system. You will find some teams will employ one or several approaches. More importantly, you will need to figure out clues, define strategy, and implement teamwork to be effective.
What type of activities can I expect?
Who knows? It varies depending on the cluemaster's mood... Perhaps you'll need to figure out a mathematical computation, test your geography or flexibility, remember your Miami beach history class...

Can we do this event in relay format?
No. All team members are expected to complete all segments in order to receive credit. Relay format is not allowed.

There is no pre-defined route- you as a team decide which route you will take. Nothing will be disclosed prior to the distribution of the instructions and list of clues on race day.
What is a pre-race briefing?
The race director will provide some general rules about the event. It is the obligation of each team to read the rules as indicated on the website and the frequently asked questions section- note: these will likely be updated closer to race day.
Can I register the day of the event?
Unfortunately, race day registration is not permitted. We encourage you to register prior to the deadline date noted on the website as this will help us better plan for the number of participants expected. Keep in mind we only have 200 individual slots available.
Do I have to wear a team uniform? What qualifies as a team uniform?
Each team is required to have a team uniform. It could be something as simple as matching t-shirts or as creative as you want it to be. You can even use the shirts we provide you as a uniform.

Will there be an after party?
We will have an awards ceremony shortly after closing the course. We encourage folks to stay around and enjoy the day. The restaurant and bar will be open for you to purchase appetizers, meals, or drinks.
Are there any sponsorship opportunities?
Yes. If interested, please send an email to sponsorship@adventurousconcepts.com
What can I expect as I've never done an event of this type?
Excitement! All teams will check in at the host location registration desk noted in the schedule. Once you arrive you are asked to check in so you can receive your packet. A ten-fifteen minute pre-race briefing will occur just prior to race start. Each team will be given the same clue sheet to decipher. You will find a number of teams take off immediately while others opt to take a bit more time to determine strategy.
